I want to run a 3 or 4 month cycle of accutane- I know of people who have run it once and never suffered from acne again.. what is the current dosage and is it taken daily? And is it true that this gets rid of acne for life? Has some nasty side effects, anyone use it before? Thanks in advance.

I know some people that have only needed to run it once & some that have to use it on any heavy cycle. Its individual basis depending on how prone you are to acne

Hello Peter, if you can get a hold of Dr. Scott he would be able to help; if you set up this question on Monday morning he may see it or put “Attn: Dr. Scott.” I will tell you what I researched when I considered it: only use it if there is a severe acne outbreak that will not go away with any conventional method, use it also if you have cystic acne as well, it is a derivitive of Vitamin A and can be very harsh on the skin as it dries it out, since it is a Vitamin A derivative you must keep clear of any high or moderate Vitamin A containing foods as this can lead to organ issues due to a vitamin overload. I opted not to take it because I resolved my issue by: changing my diet (I was poor at the time and had very little choice untill I found a better job), changing my sheets more often, made sure to keep my body clean and dry by using a rag and rubbing alcohol a few times a day, stopped taking Nandrolone Decanoate. I hope this helps some and let me know if it does. Be safe, live well and good lift to you. Remember to vote

I`m definitely not a doctor but I did suffer from acne. It wasn`t cystic and super severe but it was enough to shatter my confidence. I would get a new pimple almost everyday with no clear skin days in sight. I used retin A to treat it (which they also sell on this site). It`s a topical gel and less severe than accutane. It cleared up my acne completely after two months of consistent use. It`s also good for fading scars and for preventative aging (that actually works). I suggest looking into it!

I had accutane under doctor supervision. For the first month you take 1mg/kg body weight. If you are 100 kilos you take 100 mg/day for the first months 50mg in the am and 50 mg in the pm. The second month you take half of that. The month3 and 4 you only take 20 mg per day. In most cases it will get you rid of acne. Good luck!

personally, i would either drop the DBOl or wait until you are done. Accutane even at the low doses i have used sends my LFT`s into orbit, everyone is different but both compounds are pretty hard on the liver. If you are like me and not competing or a professional athlete, lets call this what it is essentially a hobby. Accutane for me is very effective but comes at a cost (liver, extremely dry lips and skin, also causes birth defects in women of child bearing age among others). Some may disagree but for me i would never run accutane with another liver toxic oral like anadrol or dbol, not worth the significant risk just to look good at the beach. good luck

Seeing as both dbol and accutane are both pretty hepatoxic I would not advise you do them at the same time. You could always run the injectables without the oral while still on accutane with little issue though. Maybe even anavar or tbol, which are not really liver toxic at all, and are rather slightly kidney toxic may be a better option if you really want to do both an oral and accutane. In my experience, dbol can create alot of female hormone fluctuations. Not great for when you`re trying to get acne in check. Good luck

Accutane does work like magic when it comes to getting rid of unwanted acne, but before you start using it do some research on the common side effects that come with it. You have to weigh out the pros and the cons, if you feel the pros are higher than the cons from taking it go ahead and take it. It`s a very powerful drug that works great if you really need it.

thank you bros! i will hold off on the accutane then. any chances the acnelyse cream will be okay to run with the test deca dbol cycle. this way at least i have a topical to control it as opposed to an oral.

For acne creams I highly recommend retin A. It takes about 2-3 months but it will clear every single pimple and scar (!!) from your face. It is one of those things that “gets worse before it gets better” but just not as intensely drying as accutane is.

If your cycleing anything with accutane it maybe take 2 or 3 times longer to work. Best bet is get of everything pct and run 3 months of accutane. Maybe 4 once it`s all gone think about a cycle then you shouldn`t have any more break outs ever if accutane is used correctly and for the right amount of time. But while your running accutane and your hormone are out of whack its gonna take a long while
