Thyro3 (T3, Cytomel)Alpha Pharma

Is this suppressive in any way? ( Does it affect the natural test level?)

It will not suppress testosterone, to my knowledge, but it will certainly suppress your TSH which is what is sent to the thyroid to produce T4 which in turn converts to the active thyroid hormone T3. You will definitely want to taper off this when you are coming off. I use this and get great results but use it with an anabolic otherwise you will lose muscle as well.

This will surpress you natural thyroid production. Other then that it will not surpress your testosteron levels what so ever it`s not a anabolic steroid. However your thyroid will stop working on it`s own you probably need at least 30mcg a day to equal your own natural production give or take. Most will run 50mcg a day maybe up to 100 if you a week out from compettition. Just a side note dont think this is a magical pill. Most body builders who use this, use it in the final weeks of prep when there calories are already so low doing 1 to 2 hours of cardio and they add this to help get that last pound or so of fat off them after 12 to 16 weeks of hard core dieting. This is not just for a gym rat looking to tighten up. It`s not worth risking future thyroid problems. But if you have already been dieting and your down to 7 or 8 percent body fat this will help get you to 5 or 6 percent assuming every thing else is perfect

Yes it is but studies have shown that patien5s on t3 therapy for 30 years who suddenly so stopped because later it was found they were misdiagnosed still recovered in a short time.

I wouldn`t mess with this. Does not mess with your natural text production but this is used for people who have had their thyroid removed mans want to lose some weight. Sides can be Very dangerous for a healthy person

Testosterone levels, no. It will mess with your thyroid though. Upon ending T3 use, your thyroid will need a little time to bounce back. If your diet isn`t on point, you will risk a fat rebound. Everyone will tell you different methods like tapering down or stopping cold turkey, but ultimately both ways will require your thyroid time to bounce back. From my experience in trying both methods, neither is better than the other. So I prefer cold turkey stopping just so I use less T3 and have more for my next run.

Is there a PCT plan for Thyroid after taking T3 for a month, I assume metabolism must go way down after coming off T3. If there is no pct, how long does it take to get the natural production back to normal levels?

Camps are split on this. Some swear by tapering off, others say stopping cold turkey allows for a faster recovery as long as you weren’t using it for too long. I would say keep duration of use short, your dose moderate, and use a short taper. When you come off the T3 supplement with iodine.

My own experience with this says you taper off slowly. Keep taking it down 12. 5 on a weekly basis. I`ve only ever tapered off and never had a negative rebound. Many popular prep coaches that talk about gear recommend the same. Cold Turkey is when you run into bad production and rapid weight gain after.

You will definitely want to taper down as with most hormones. You will want to cut your dosage down so that your thyroid can begin producing thyroid hormones on its own. This is a big deal and you could have terrible side effects if you run into problems. Take care to watch out for side effects and your mood can be a big one. I hope this works out for you. Good luck.

I’ve always gone by the length of the cycle, if it’s less than 3 months quitting cold turkey would be the best protocol for your thyroid to restart production of its own hormones if the duration spans any longer than 3 months I would taper off before quitting completely.

It is best to taper off and you will slowly regain proper thyroid functionality over time.

Will this help my wife`s hypothyroid problem? The doctor doesn`t want to put her on more than 25mcg per 12 hours.. She eats great and was ripped two years ago and nothing changed in her diet other than,, she eats less and works out more! I feel really bad for her because I eat horrible and stay good with test and a few hundred push-ups per day.

Honestly, it may or may not. The bigger picture here though is that she`s already under the care of a physician. If she starts medicating herself then this will alter her doctors treatment plan and may result in a detriment to her overall health. A better route to explore would be getting a second, or even third opinion.

I wouldn`t recommend using this for a hypothyroid problem, unless prescribed by a Dr. If you have a healthy thyroid this makes a great short term solution for fat loss. But if you are being treated for Hypothyroidism, I would get the recommended blood work done and take the meds as prescribed. It is possible to become over medicated for Hypo, which can cause further complications.

Taking t3 will help stabilize the thyroid stimulating hormone, usually t4 is prescribed by medical professionals but seeing as t3 converts from t4. T3 would be a good substitute. But remember that once you start t3 if she has hypothyroidism that she can’t stop unless she wants to suffer from the same reoccurring symptoms.
